On Saturday November 17, 2007 from 10AM-6PM, I will host a workshop at my studio in Brandenburg. The workshop will cover basic lighting and posing for beginners. We will be working with 3 lights: a main, seperation, and hair light. I will show you how to use these lights in various ways to accomplish different moods from high key to low key. I'll also demonstrate how you can vary a background's color/intensity by light positioning. Models will be present and/or you are welcome to bring a model if you want. Lunch will be provided. The cost is $125/person. I have had several inquiries about a workshop at my studio, so I think the spots may fill quickly. If you want to attend, please register as soon as possible. The workshop is for a maximum of 10 people. To sign up, please use the button on the right.
Brandenburg is a small non-tourist city, located approximately 30 minutes from Louisville, KY. Accommodations are limited in Brandenburg and I would suggest that those who attend just drive in Saturday morning from their location or a hotel in Louisville. My recommendation for a hotel is the Marriott in Louisville, which is located about an hour from my studio. I am also willing to allow attendees to stay at my studio Friday night, but I only have 2 half-baths available. If you would like to stay at my studio, just let me know so I can keep track of how many people will be staying.
