I taught a workshop this past weekend in Howell, Michigan at Karina G Photography's studio. Everyone had a blast! Here are some of the images...
And here is the feedback from the attendees:"I really learned so much from you. I definitely had a few 'light bulb' moments and came right home and started putting them to use!"
-Lisa Adams
"I learned SOOOO much on lighting, RAW and so much more. I always want to go to workshops but I always feel intimidated by the knowledge and don't want to look like a complete idiot. Lisa was so patient and started with the basics and it was an awe moment. Oh and I am now a RAW shooter. I'm in awe after how she taught me how easy it is to work with them."

"Lisa did a FANTASTIC job. I have attended some workshops in the past and yes, they were fabulous. But, with Lisa, it was and always has been so easy to learn. She is so patient and easy going, and so easy to understand. I think we all had that 'light bulb' moment when she was describing high key. I actually learned the light meter, and just felt awesome! The models were great, lisa's posing suggestions were great, and the company was sweet. For anyone, Lisa may be doing these workshops again, and I COMPLETELY advise anyone who is questioning their lighting skills, and wants to learn the 'right' way, in easy terms, you must attend Lisa's workshop. The beginner photographer would definitely benefit from this!"

"Like I told Lisa today, she is full of talent and has a great way of communicating to those she is helping! I have wanted to learn High Key for so long and now feel so much more confident that I can master it. And WOW, I can now put my batteries in the light meter that I have had for months and have been too overwhelmed to use! Just being able to SEE it - hands on - is KEY! I could truly make a list of all the things Lisa helped with, but it would just take too long. So I will also agree with Karina and say that if you are ever looking for a workshop like this - Lisa is your gal!! It was organized, prepaired for and communicated so well! Thank you, thank you, thank you Lisa for all your patience and all the laughs along the way!

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Lisa. I have a whole new understanding of lighting. I have done high key in the past, but not without a ton of pp in photoshop to 'fix' it. Anyone can talk til they're blue in the face about technique, but when you actually see it done, it makes all the differentce in the world!!! As far as the actual content of the workshop....I give Lisa an A+. It was casual, but informative, and she stayed on point the entire time. I loved the fact that it was small an intimate so we all got a chance to shoot all the poses and gain the experience. Lisa not only taught lighting, but did a lot to teach us posing techniques."
